Shelby Mustangs for sale

Quite possibly one of the most notable Muscle cars of all time, the Shelby Mustang hit the streets in 1965. Famous race car driver (and creator of the Shelby Cobra) Carroll Shelby teamed up with Ford to take stock Mustangs and turn them into some of the best performing street vehicles ever sold.

The original generation Shelby Mustangs for sale, from 1965-1970 included the GT-350, GT-500, GT-500KR and GT-350H Hertz "Rent a Racer". They were all fastbacks initially, then convertibles entered the mix. No production hard tops were made, although the 1968 California Special was born from the Shelby idea.

Over 35 years later the Shelby name once again adorned Mustang fenders with the return of the late model Shelby Mustang. In 2006 there was the Shelby GT-H, 2007 & 2008 offered the Shelby GT and Shelby GT500 for sale. Then in 2008 the king of all Shelbys, the GT500KR was reintroduced and has become almost as popular as the original.
