Typically the color spot on the door data plate is blank for a special order paint car, but not always. Check out the data plate of this other Lone Star Limited (ie. Blue Bonnet Special) with a "C" listed as the color: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/photopost/showphoto.php/photo/134531

I am trying to confirm if we have a bluebonnet or not. The DSO# is 615598 and has the correct hood, wheels and air breather. We bought it was white. The paint code was "C" and nothing come up on that. That's what got me searching. Any info would be nice.

Hey Virgil, How's it going? Have you gotten to do any work on the cars? There is always something more I want to do on my BB. I am going to take it to MustangFest in Oct. to Mustang Island. That should be fun!

I have two of these cars and have been able to dig up some pretty interesting info. Always looking for more info and other cars. If you know anything, I'd love to hear from you. DSO numbers of 61-5036 and 61-5598 have also been known to be assigned to Lone Star Limiteds (AKA Bluebonnet Specials).
