2005-2009 Mustang Convertible

The Mustang Convertible was reborn in 2005 and completely redesigned from the ground up. No sedan chassis compromised its shape or occupant packaging. No economy car power train had to be accommodated. This was the car that made people come to love the Mustang in the first place.

Just like previous year Mustang convertibles, the 2005-2009 Mustangs sat four people. But unlike all the former models, the top didn't fold down like Mustang tops in the past. Instead of folding onto itself so the underside of the top shows when it's down, it folded like a 'Z' to give it a much cleaner look. Production on these convertibles began in January 31, 2005. Today many Mustang Convertibles are being used for parades for festival queens an politicians running for office. The sharp and extremely sporty appearance of the Mustang instantly captures the viewer’s attention, and the person of honor can sit perched upon the trunk with his or her feet resting on the backseat knowing that all eyes are on them. The standard 2009 Mustang convertible comes with an engine holding 300 horsepower. The New generation of Mustangs has made a serious impact to the car world and will prove to be a successful seller for many years to come.
